About "The Carrie Diaries"...

First of all, I feel like I should thank Tania for introducing me to this fantastic TV show, which in case you didn't know it's a spin off Sex in the City where Carrie, the main character, talks about her teenage years.
Usually, I fall in love (more like become obsessed) with a show when the story line is really entertaining and it keeps my mind busy from real life, whereas TCD makes me actually think about it and those thoughts are starting to be quite deep...
I'll explain myself, watching a show where a 15 year old girl who doesn't really know what to do with her life, starts creating her way up to the top in a city like Manhattan and lives her dream, makes me realize that even though it is a show, and it is fiction, trying hard some great things can happen to you.
My thoughts, also inspired by Zoella's Just Say Yes video, have become more interesting lately, and now I find myself dreaming about what kind of future I want for me and how do I get there instead of being worried by bands and famous people... which worryingly took most of my time.
After I'm done with my exams on June, I'll do a research for interesting things to do during the summer and I will also focus on the things I enjoy doing or having such as make up, clothes, fashion in general, writing and reading (which is something me and my other two close friends share, seen as the three of us created a blog where -in different ways- we try to succeed or just "find our voice" as the show constantly repeats)
After watching the first season in almost three days, I realized I wanted to find my voice, and I wanted to do something interesting and fascinating. Maybe "it" is not going to be my blog, I'm probably never becoming a writer, but as long as something creative comes up in my mind I'll keep this blog (and the few people that read it) in touch.
I hope all of you feel this inspired to do something at some point of your life, because I guarantee it feels refreshing and it gives you energy to try lots of new things.

Remember, just say yes, try new things, discover yourself, and once you like the person you've discovered, never let anyone change that and succeed with whatever you want (or at least try)

By the way, I recommend to everyone who is into girly things or cheesy shows such as Gossip Girl, to watch this show if you haven't yet. There's also a hot guy I am really in love with and Carrie's early-80's outfits are to die for.
